چکیده
Although Platycodon grandiflorum (Jacq.) A.DC. is a renowned medicine food homology plant, reports of excessive cadmium (Cd) levels are common, which affects its safety for clinical use and consumption. To enable Cd to be regulated or reduced, it necessary first elucidate the mechanism uptake accumulation in addition detoxification mechanisms. This present study used inductively couple plasma-mass-spectrometry analyze subcellular distribution chemical forms different tissues P. grandiflorum. The experimental results showed that was mainly accumulated roots [predominantly cell wall (50.96%–61.42%)], found primarily hypomobile hypotoxic forms. proportion soluble fraction increased after exposure, insoluble phosphate oxalate leaves, with higher increase Cd. Therefore, likely root retention mechanisms, deposition, vacuole sequestration, formation low mobility toxicity tolerance strategies by this provide theoretical grounding mechanisms grandiflorum, they can as reference developing limits standards other plants.

A greenhouse experiment was conducted to compare the subcellular distribution and chemical forms of cadmium (Cd) in roots, stems, leaves, and fruits between a low-Cd cultivar (Yeshengchaotianjiao, YCT) and a high-Cd cultivar (Jinfuzaohuangjiao, JFZ) of hot pepper (Capsicum annuum L.). The Cd concentrations in the root's subcellular fractions, and in all chemical forms in roots, were 1.85-4.88- ...

A pot experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of calcium silicate (CS) on the subcellular distribution and chemical forms of cadmium (Cd) in grain amaranths (Amaranthus hypochondriacus L. Cv. 'K112') grown in a Cd contaminated soil. Results showed that the dry weight and the photosynthetic pigments contents in grain amaranths increased significantly with the increasing doses of CS t...

Phytoremediation is a technology for extracting or inactivating pollutants in soil. Echinodorus osiris (E. osiris) is a fast growing perennial wetland plant that is common in tropical and subtropical areas and has a high tolerance to cadmium (Cd). However, the absorption dynamics, subcellular distribution and accumulation of Cd by E. osiris had not been investigated. In this paper, hydroponic e...
متن کاملArbuscular Mycorrhizal Colonization Alters Subcellular Distribution and Chemical Forms of Cadmium in Medicago sativa L. and Resists Cadmium Toxicity
Some plants can tolerate and even detoxify soils contaminated with heavy metals. This detoxification ability may depend on what chemical forms of metals are taken up by plants and how the plants distribute the toxins in their tissues. This, in turn, may have an important impact on phytoremediation. We investigated the impact of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus, Glomus intraradices, on the sub...
